HORST KIECHLE - MODULAR HEARTS

In 2016 I had a request for modifying one of my heart models to show a specific heart condition, namely a single ventricle heart with inverse transposed main arteries. This required a total redesign of my heart model breaking it down into individual modules which can be mixed and matched to visualise a standard, healthy heart as well as specific congenital heart diseases.

The STANDARD MODULAR HEART consists of a left and right ventricle, left and right atrium, aorta and pulmonary artery as well as an optional 'shell'.
